GENERAL RULES:
The tournament shall be conducted on a knock-out basis at campus. Since this is a gaming event
each participating team has to play a head-to-head match against another participating team.
The games will be played in 5v5 mode. All the 5 participating members must be present at our
venue. The PCs will be provided to the players but the participants may bring their own
peripherals like keyboard, mouse and mousepad. The players must bring their own
headphones, as it will not be provided by us. All the PCs will be connected via LAN. At first the
participants will have to connect their peripherals, then login with their respective Riot IDs and
adjust the required settings. The map veto will be conducted by the Event Coordinators.
GAME RULES:
1. A player is allowed to have only one (1) Valorant account active during the
tournament. Valorant nickname (while registering) has to be in format Riot
ID#Tagline. (Example: Mrsmith#EUNE). Any other format will be invalid.
2. You are not allowed to share or use another person’s game account. Your account is
for your use, and your use alone.
TEAMS AND ROSTERS:
1. Each team’s roster must consist of 5 players.
2. The players cannot be part of any other team’s roster which is participating or
has participated in the same tournament.
3. Match has to be played in the following format: 5v5.
4. A player is allowed to represent only one (1) team’s roster in the same
tournament.
MATCH RULES:
BEFORE MATCH:
• Tournament Round will start as scheduled unless said otherwise. Some rounds
might get delayed, for all the information will be provided beforehand.
• 5 minutes time will be provided to the players for logging into their Riot ID and
also for connecting their peripherals.
• The team which is on the top of the match in the bracket will have to invite the
opposite team to the custom game. In order to do so, you need to add the captain
of the opposite team as a friend. (Example: Mrsmith#EUNE. Mrsmith is the Riot
ID and EUNE is the Tagline).
• If your team is on the bottom of the match in the bracket, please check all the
players of the opposite team and if you receive an invitation from them, you
have to accept it.
• All the players have to be in the lobby before the time limit goes down (10
minutes after the scheduled time). If there are players missing after this time
limit, the team which has less than 5 players will be disqualified from the
tournament. If both teams have less than 5 players, then both are disqualified.
• Each match will be observed by the Admin Panel.
• Team captains of each team will have to choose maps and sides as described:
TOSS:
A live toss will be held by the admins.
BO1:
• Captain winning the toss bans a map from the map pool. (8 maps remaining)
• Captain losing the toss bans a map from the map pool. (7 maps remaining)
• Captain winning the toss bans a map from the map pool. (6 maps remaining)
• Captain losing the toss bans a map from the map pool. (5 maps remaining)
• Captain winning the toss bans a map from the map pool. (4 maps remaining)
• Captain losing the toss bans a map from the map pool. (5 maps remaining)
• Captain winning the toss bans a map from the map pool. (4 maps remaining)
• Captain losing the toss bans a map from the map pool. (3 maps remaining)
• Captain winning the toss picks a map from the remaining 3 maps.
• Captain losing the toss will pick a side (Attackers/Defenders)to start on.
BO3:
• Captain winning the toss bans a map from the map pool. (8 maps remaining)
• Captain losing the toss bans a map from the map pool. (7 maps remaining)
• Captain winning the toss bans a map from the map pool. (6 maps remaining)
• Captain losing the toss bans a map from the map pool. (5 maps remaining)
• Captain winning the toss picks the 1st map from the map pool. (4 maps
remaining)
• Captain losing the toss chooses the side (Attackers/Defenders)for the 1st map.
• Captain losing the toss picks the 2nd map from the map pool. (3 maps remaining)
• Captain winning the toss chooses the side (Attackers/Defenders)for the 2nd map.
• Captain winning the toss bans a map from the map pool. (2 maps remaining)
• Captain winning the toss bans a map from the map pool. (2 maps remaining)
• Captain losing the toss bans a map from the map pool. (1 maps remaining)
• The remaining map is the Decider map.
• Captain winning the toss chooses the side (Attackers/Defenders)for the 3rd map.
• Each map from the map pool can be chosen only once. (If the map is banned,
then it cannot be chosen.)
DURING MATCH:
• If one of the teams will not pick all the agents in the character selection screen
and the game goes back to the lobby, the game has to be remade.
• If any of the players are not connected to the game before the counter reaches 0,
the team can call a remake and the game has to be remade.
• If the game started on the wrong map, the game has to be remade.
• In order to do the remake, all the players have to leave the match. Start the next
game as soon as possible. If the team is not ready by 5 minutes after the remake,
the team which is not ready will be disqualified. Game can be remade only once,
the game has to be played in the way it started after the remake, even if the issues
occur.
• Each team has the right to pause a game once during a match for no longer than
two minutes during the preparation phase of any round.
AFTER MATCH:
The players will logout from their RIOT id and take their peripherals and other belongings.

The usage of a bug/bugs to gain an advantage versus your opponents.
The Admin Panel reserves the right to monitor any player, for any reason, during the tournament.
RULING AND PUNISHMENTS:
Anything that can be viewed as a bug or exploit will be reviewed by the admin team and judged
on a case-by-case basis, examples of such can be:
• Using cypher cameras on spots which allows you to see through the walls.
• Sitting on the spots which are not supposed to be used by map design.
• Trying to reach out of the map boundaries (teleporting with the Omen outside
the playable area of the map).
• Activating Sova’s Drone the way that it spawns clipping through the wall.
• Using Sova’s Arrow on the spots, where they cannot be destroyed and they can
spot players (Example: Fixed billboard on Split).
• Bugging yourself into the doors on the Ascent map, that you can see on both sides.
• Spamming between Omen Phaser with ultimate to see through walls.
• Opening doors on Bind from outside (Using Cypher’s camera from outside to
open the doors).
BEHAVIOUR AND SPORTSMANSHIP:
• Show respect to everyone involved in the tournament.
• Always show integrity while playing in every tournament, be honest and play fair.
Do not use any discriminatory language, including but not limited to any
language regarding ethnicity, nationality, race, gender, religion, sexual
orientation or personal beliefs.
• Do not use any extreme foul language, including but not limited to
excessive profanity or language that is graphically sexual, grotesque, or
violent.
• Do not make threats of real-world violence or other intended harm to
anyone involved in the tournament.
• Do not harass, stalk, or purposely do things to make someone else
feel uncomfortable or threatened.
• Do not share personal information about yourself or other individuals.
• Do not engage in, request, arrange, or offer illegal activities or materials.
• Do not impersonate other individuals.
• Do not spam, be it in text or VOIP.
All Rules may be subject to change without any prior notice. Decision by
the Admins will be final.
