INSTA-FRAME 2026 is an instant photography contest with an open theme, where students can showcase their photography skills blended with creativity and perfection. The photograph must be captured within the Future Institute of Engineering and Management (F.I.E.M) campus during the days of Phoenix 2026.
ELIGIBILITY
• Open to all students up to postgraduate level
• The entrant can be pursuing any course but must be a current student of a recognized institution
THEME
• Theme is OPEN; participants are free to choose any subject
• Photographs must be captured strictly within the FIEM college campus
• Any use of outside elements or photos taken outside campus will result in disqualification
REGISTRATION
• Registration is mandatory for all participants
• Only on-spot registration is available at the registration desk; no online registration
• Participants must register their name before taking part; unregistered entries will not be accepted
• Entry fee: ₹30 per photograph submitted
• Maximum of 2 photographs per participant
TIMELINE
• Contest starts: 17th April, 11:00 AM onwards
• Contest ends: 18th April, 5:00 PM
• All photographs must be captured within this time period and within FIEM premises
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
• File name should be the participant's full name
• Maximum TWO photographs per participant
• Only JPEG format is accepted
• NO EDITING ALLOWED (no post-processing, color correction, color manipulation, panoramas, or composite images)
• Photographs must not contain any watermark, logo, frame, or graphics
• Minimum resolution: 1280×960 pixels
• Accepted aspect ratios: 1:1, 3:2, 4:3, 5:7, 16:9
• Any image containing nudity, violence, or mature content is not allowed
CAMERA RULES
• Any type of camera (smartphone, DSLR, mirrorless, etc.) may be used
JUDGING & PRIZES
• Cash prize + E-Certificate awarded to: Winner, Two Runner-Ups
• Winners selected by mentors of the Photography Wing of XPLORICA
• Evaluation criteria: Composition, Technical aspects, Framing skills, Overall creativity
• Results, once declared, will not be altered
DISQUALIFICATION & REJECTION
• Images not shot by the participant, containing superimposed graphics, or violating guidelines will be rejected
• Entries exceeding maximum limit, containing irrelevant details, or submitted late will be rejected
